The image of “the other” in media discourses on Muslims in the Czech Republic
This paper explores the current media image of Muslims residing in the Czech Republic. Through a content analysis of newspaper contributions in two Czech periodicals “MF dnes” and “Právo”, the media image of Muslims in the Czech Republic is constructed for the period 2008–2013. The research comprised a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the thematic categories that were defined.
